Montserrat St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Special
Montserrat, the only country outside of Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day as a national holiday, comes alive in true Caribbean-style with a week-long series of festivities surrounding this annual event. For the 2010 celebration, held March 13-20, travelers looking for a little more than four-leaf clovers and a pint of Guinness can take advantage of the St. Patrick’s Day on the Emerald Isle package offered at a variety of villas and guest houses all around the island. This eight day/seven night special includes accommodations, personalized island tour, boat tour to the former capital city of Plymouth, now submerged under ash and mudflows, hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, some meals, seven-day car rental and roundtrip airport transportation, as well as entrance into several special events during St. Patrick’s week. The St. Patrick’s Day on the Emerald Isle package starts at $915 per person.
The special is valid from March 13-20, 2010, subject to room and villa availability.
